The ranch was established in 2019 on a rugged 10 acre property nestled in the mountains 3000ft above sea level. The Gateway is uniquely located between Penticton and Keremeos in the mountains of the Okanagan Valley.
Here on the ranch amidst Crown Land and cattle range you get the feeling you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are only a half hour away from amenities. Once known as the “Red Roost”, a local gathering spot and garden centre, the ranch is now a peaceful sanctuary where people are able to come to unwind, connect with nature or host retreats and small events.

I am the founder of the Gateway Ranch. and Yogadog Dog Training. I’m a lover of nature, a lover of animals, great people, great food and local fare. I am passionate about connecting with like minded groups and holding unique events.
After working in the film industry as a make-up artist for 26 years and then opening a dog training company in Vancouver, I decided to move to the Okanagan. The idea of the “gateway” came from a personal lifestyle transition I made and ultimately a conscious decision to connect deeper with a simpler life.
My vision for the Gateway Ranch was to create a space and a place to live that I didn’t want to take a vacation from. Now it is my passion to share this place with others who share the same love of life.
